Ok, So let the rumor mill begin. Some are saying that Beyonce has stolen both of her songs. The first if I were a boy from an up and coming artist named BC Jean. Here is a the story from fox news.

BC Jean is a hot, up-and-coming, 21-year-old female singer songwriter from San Diego. Those who’ve met her says she’s smart and "gorgeous." But BC (her initials, legend has it, are for "beautiful child") got a cold dose of reality this summer when it comes to the record business. According to sources, she and her manager/mother have been strong-armed by Beyonce’s people and others who saw gold in "If I Were a Boy" and didn’t care how they got it.

You can hear BC Jean’s version of her own song, written with German pop-factory producer Toby Gad, at www.bcjean.net. It’s certainly as good as Beyonce’s if not better. It’s no wonder that this young woman is now the center of so much attention.

Altogether, I am told, BC Jean wrote and recorded about a dozen songs with Gad for an album the producer was planning to make of his own. When the deal fell apart, Gad — whose 300 plus credits are all co-written, never solo — took the songs and started marketing them to big name, established artists. Gad’s past "collaborators" include Fergie, on "Big Girls Don’t Cry."

Besides Beyonce, Gad brought at least one of the songs to Disney for "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus. But Disney wanted the lyrics changed to be age-appropriate. BC Jean refused. For now, Miley and Gad have been rebuffed.

When I wrote about Beyonce’s version of "If I Were a Boy" last week, calls came pouring in from people who knew the real history of this story. BC Jean’s mother/manager, Lori Carlson, told me she couldn’t comment on the situation. But plenty of people knew the saga of Beyonce’s legendary manager/father Mathew Knowles’ aggressive pursuit of the publishing rights to the potential hit record. His goal was to get the rights to the song and to put Beyonce’s name on the writing credits.

The Carlsons, I’m told, recently came to terms with Beyonce, after enduring the kind of record biz terrors that would curl the hair of the guys from "Hit Men." Now, "If I Were a Boy" is hitting big time. Part of the deal, my sources insist, is that the two singers will duet on BC Jean’s debut album once she gets her own recording deal. Right now, managers, publishers and A&R people from all over the industry are falling over themselves trying to sign BC Jean. They should be. She seems to be the real deal, a potential artist with a big career looming in front of her. It’s a shame that this is the way she had to find out about the record business. Credit Fox news

The song did not meet the grammy deadline because it was in all types of legal litigation. Beyonce has been know to take credit for work that was not her's , can anyone say irreplaceable please. She has indeed confirmed that her cd will be a double disc. One titled I am Beyonce full of slow R&B grooves and the other called I am Sasha which will include her new dance single, Single Ladies. Either way, The song and video is really starting to grow on me and I guess B feels by any means nesscasary! You betta "Go Girl" Oops did I just steal Ciara. LOL
Speaking of single ladies, she is also rumored to have taken the video concept for single ladies from this video below which is hilarious. Check out the video and supposed track list below. Thoughts?

As I try not blame and take actions
I have begun to speak.
First starting off in a chrome monotone

So I want to ask you guys a question. Do you believe that manogamy is truly realistic. In a society where sex is used for everthing, from music to advertising, its always right in our face. How many actually look the other way? Which makes me wonder is Manogamy Realistic? Can you have a relationship with just one person? Is that by force or are you doing it willingly? If not does that cause resentment towards the person you are with? I ran into a couple recently who have a very unique relationship. There are three people in the relationship. Now they are faithful to each other but they live as a threesome relationship. They say this provides a lack of the wandering eye and lessens the boredom factor. So I ask myself, are they on to something? The triangle has three sides and is considered one of the most pleasing shapes to the human mind. Maybe it has the same signaficance in the bedroom? Just Asking!

So I was in the locker room at the gym and having a great conversation with one of the guys there and he mentioned that he knew we had someone great in our presence when he heard Barack Obamas 2004 DNC Speech. Janet cancels more shows:

- Janet Jackson has postponed three more shows because of an undisclosed illness.

Her publicist said in an e-mail late Saturday that Jackson was postponing a Saturday show in Greensboro, N.C., one on Sunday in Atlanta and a third on Tuesday in Fort Lauderdale.

A statement from Jackson said she arrived in Greensboro, N.C., hoping to perform there Saturday, but a local doctor advised that she not perform after it became "evident" she was not fully recovered.

Representatives for the 42-year-old singer say she became "suddenly ill" and was hospitalized Monday night in Montreal shortly after she arrived for a show. She also canceled concerts in Boston and Philadelphia on Wednesday and Thursday.

Jackson's publicist did not elaborate Saturday, only saying she was "recuperating." The note said Jackson will return home, at her doctor's direction, for further treatment.

In the note Jackson asked people to keep their tickets for the postponed shows, and said the promoter is working to reschedule dates.

Jackson is on her first North American tour in seven years.

I just saw Janet a couple of weeks ago and boy am I glad that I did as it looks like this may be the end of the Rockwitchu Tour. I surely hope not, as this was a great show to see and should not be missed. It does not surprise me that its rumored that Janet is suffering from exhaustion. With a two hour set list and non- stop dance sequences I would be exhausted. Hell, I suffer from exhaustion after 30 Minutes on the treadmill. LOL Some other rumors that have been floating around the net is that Janet is suffering from a condition called vertigo. Look it up. Basicall it is a symptom of something more pressing. You get really Dizzy and sometime have double vision. I think i may have had that before as well, Oh well then again i think i was just tipsy. Enjoy a small snippet of Janet doin her thang!

What i do know is that I don't believe all of the pregnancy rumors that have been swirling about our prissy Diva, but what I don't know is why she chose to ruin that short black dress with those damn leggings!

One of the things i like to do on this blog is post the hot spots in Chicago. So every now and then I will review certain clubs, restaurants or venues in Chi. One of my favorite places on a Saturday night is Ear Rotic at Spin Nightclub. Zeret music entertainment,, throws a great party every 1st,3rd,4th and 5th saturday of the month. If you like good hiphop and Reggae music combined with a mixed, cool atmosphere and good drinks at a low price, this is the place to go. With two rooms, the front room plays videos and music performances while you get your drink on and stay entertained. In the back room you are infatuated with pulsating beats and rhythms from DJ Stoney and DJ SP1. They also have an area if you want to play pool and just chill with your crew. Sometimes they will have guest performances hosted by the very funny and talented Ruff and Stuff. Spin is located at 800 W. Belmont Avenue. But dont take my word for it Check out the video below. Friday is a big day for new music news. So I have a couple of more post on music before the end of the day. This track here is a new leak from artist Ne-yo. He is currently working on a new album which is rumored to be released in early summer or fall. The single is called "closer" and is turning on to be one of my favorite jams. Ne-yo ditched his usual singing style of "Irreplaceable" and went for a more pop and synthesized sound. Most definitely a sway back and forth song.
